Shinogi Soup Bowl 8.7"
Riso Porcelain's Shinogi collection takes its name from the traditional Japanese technique of carving fine, parallel ridges into the clay body, a practice rooted in sword-making aesthetics where "shinogi" describes the ridge line running along a blade. On this soup bowl, those ridges run around the wide, flared rim, framing a smooth, shallow well in clean matte white Arita porcelain. Well suited for soups, small plated courses, or any dish that benefits from a wide presentation. Designed by Shinichi Terauchi, made in Arita, Japan.
