Shinogi Salad Bowl
Riso Porcelain's Shinogi collection takes its name from the traditional Japanese technique of carving fine, parallel ridges into the clay body, a practice rooted in sword-making aesthetics where "shinogi" describes the ridge line running along a blade. On this salad bowl, those ridges run around the exterior, giving the clean matte white Arita porcelain surface a subtle texture and rhythm. The generous, open well makes it well suited for salads, side dishes, or any shared serving at the table. Designed by Shinichi Terauchi, made in Arita, Japan.
